If you would like to give your Rockpanel façade panels a new colour for aesthetic reasons, this is possible with Rockpanel Rockpanel Colours (without ProtectPlus). These products have a water-based coating. For specific advice on painting, please refer to the paint manufacturer.

Rockpanel Colours panels with ProtectPlus cannot be painted.

No. Rockpanel facade panels are insensitive to moisture and other weather influences, so the cut edges and other edges do not require any finishing. However, if you want to paint the edges for aesthetic reasons, you can do so. In that case, our tips and tricks for painting edges will certainly be of interest to you.

If the board edges are not painted, the base material will automatically turn dark brown after a few weeks due to the effects of daylight.

Rockpanel is not an insulating material.

We try to deliver samples as quickly as possible. This usually takes about a week.

You can use Rockpanel products for facade cladding, gables, soffits, dormers, solutions along the roof line and other building details. In most cases, they are used as cladding on ventilated facade constructions, where they contribute to a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing high-quality facade, both for renovation projects and new builds.

This does not mean that the products are also not suitable for other applications. However, these have not been tested and certified by us and are therefore not covered by the warranty.

ProtectPlus is an extra layer that protects against UV light and graffiti. This layer enhances the self-cleaning properties of Rockpanel façade panels, so that most atmospheric dirt is simply washed away by the rain. The ProtectPlus layer is resistant to the solvents found in most cleaning agents. ProtectPlus is standard on Woods, Stones, Chameleon and Metals panels (except Metals Aluminum White and Grey). For the Colours series, ProtectPlus can be added as an option when ordering at least 100 m² per colour.

We recommend cleaning the boards with water from time to time, possibly with a cleaning agent such as car shampoo or a universal cleaning agent. We advise against the use of solvents or cleaning agents that contain solvents.
