Material and use

Rockpanel Metals boards are made from compressed basalt stone wool, a naturally occurring volcanic rock, combined with a small amount of organic binder. This gives all Rockpanel products their unique properties, combining the strength and durability of stone with the ease of working like wood. The boards are suitable for facade cladding, roofing applications, and architectural detailing.

From a 1970s House to a Sustainable designer home

"The primary objective of the renovation was to create more space for the residents, but above all: greater sustainability. The house was previously heated only by radiators. There was also no insulation. As a solution, the house was, as it were, wrapped in an extra layer. This combined the aesthetic aspect with the technical installation. The pipes and ducts are now located between the existing brick façade and the new façade, as there was no room for them on the inside of the house."
